Mamahaha no Tsurego is a Japanese novel series written by Fuminori Teshima and illustrated by COMTA. It was first published in Japan on August 29, 2018 by Overlap Bunko. The novel has been adapted into a manga series, which started serialisation in the Monthly Comic Alive magazine in August 2019.
The story follows the journey of Leon, a boy who was abandoned in the forest as a baby and raised by a legendary monster known as Mamahaha. He learns the ways of the forest and the creatures living there and becomes known as the "forest boy". Later on, he meets and befriends a priest named Chris and a young girl named Bel, and together they embark on a journey to find Leon's true identity and the reason why he was abandoned in the forest.
The series is known for its beautiful illustrations and heart-warming story, which explores the themes of family, friendship, and the bond between humans and nature.
